Many schools are now introducing students to gardening and growing their own vegetables. 

Not only do children become more aware of how vegetables are produced but they are also more likely to want to eat vegetables that they have grown themselves.

We recently installed a number of raised beds at Dromore National School in County Donegal. For this project, we arranged a series of raised beds in the shape of a head and body. This unusual layout was chosen specially with children in mind to add interest and fun to the planting.
